Quick Explanation: Telangitron uses very low levels of High Frequency (HF) and Direct Current (DC). The treatment is self-limiting and vessel specific. There is minimal skin reaction. Only the epidermis and superficial dermis are affected. The dermis is not affected so scarring is virtually impossible. Unlike laser treatments that induce area-wide inflammation, Telangitron causes only superficial inflammation specific to the needle tip "spot size." Thus, post-treatment neovascularization has never been reported.
